The Ministry of Education has announced the immediate cancellation of the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination following potential security breaches. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 18th in OMR mode across multiple cities, the examination’s integrity came under scrutiny after inputs from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit (I4C) suggested possible compromises.

In a move to maintain transparency and fairness, the Ministry has decided to cancel the exam and will reschedule it, with new dates to be announced soon. The Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) has been tasked with a thorough investigation into the matter.

Update on NEET (UG) 2024 Examination

Regarding the NEET (UG) 2024, previous issues related to grace marks have been resolved. However, allegations of irregularities in Patna are under review, with a detailed report awaited from the Economic Offences Unit of the Bihar Police. Further actions will follow based on this report.

The Ministry reaffirms its commitment to upholding the sanctity of examinations and ensuring the interests of students are protected, promising strict action against any involved parties.
